Community Involvement

At Healing Motion Physical Therapy we continually strive to build strong relationships – in and out of the clinic.

We welcome opportunities to provide education to the community about wellness and health promotion, injury prevention, the benefits of exercise, and common sports injuries and rehabilitation.

Our presentations have been provided to Rotary Club, Lions Club, and fitness facilities such as Fitness Over 50. We have participated in career days at Philomath Middle School and provided educational sessions to athletic groups at Philomath High School. We have also been delighted to regularly contribute news articles to the Alsea Valley Voice and Philomath Bulletin on health and fitness related topics.

We have also participated as a team in the “Polar Plunge”
as the HMPT Wigout’s team. An event that helps raise money for the Oregon Special Olympics.

With “Moving to a Healthier You” as our slogan, our goal is to help not only those that those that pass through our clinic as patients but to become a community resource to assist with improving and maintaining healthy lifestyles.

Should your athletic team, civic club or special interest group desire to have someone talk to you about injury prevention, health promotion, exercise or other mobility related topics, please call our office to arrange for a presentation by our physical therapists.
